MSW
In my therapeutic approach, I strive to create a collaborative space where we can explore your inner world and develop a deeper understanding of your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. I believe in equipping you with the tools you need to navigate life's complexities, including practical skills for stress management, communication, and emotional regulation. I'm passionate about helping you uncover and reshape patterns that may be hindering your well-being, fostering a journey towards greater self-awareness and lasting positive change.
MSW, CSW
Hi! My name is Edwin Santos Lepiz (He/Him/Él) and I believe healing starts with vulnerability—the courage to be seen and heard in our truth, even when it feels deeply uncomfortable. Shame often tells us we’re not enough, but I see therapy as a space to gently challenge that voice and invite resilience and self-compassion instead. I use a blend of approaches tailored to your story, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other trauma-focused interventions. I also integrate decolonial and multicultural feminist therapy to honor both your lived experience and cultural identities.

As a therapist, I place a strong emphasis on building a meaningful therapeutic alliance and serving as an advocate for my clients. People are drawn to my approach because of my empathy, honesty, and willingness to challenge them when it supports their growth. My goal is for every client to feel seen, heard, and affirmed in their humanity.

I have found that I work especially well with neurodivergent individuals, as well as those navigating severe depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use challenges. I enjoy working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and concerns, and I value the opportunity to support diverse experiences.

Everyone struggles at some point in their lives. It’s the human experience, and comes in many forms: anxiety, depression, trauma, acting out behaviors. As a clinical therapist with a Master’s in Social Work, I have been honored to provide support to children, teens, LGBTQIA, families and adults through crisis and behavioral support, military, and person or individual previously incarcerated.

Welcome! It takes courage to want to work on growth, change, and acceptance. You might feel stuck between both the need for acceptance and the need for change in areas of your life. As a therapist, I help people in this change process. My experience in treating substance use, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, self harm, and eating disorders has given me the background to help individuals and families with complex problems.
Therapy is being embraced within our culture! It has become acceptable to reach out for help, to address problems in our lives, and to seek another perspective. Those that do reach out for help get the opportunity to fully be heard, to feel validation, and to begin stepping forward in the healing process.
